1/2 pound Italian sausage casing removed
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella
3/4 cup whole milk ricotta drained if needed
1 to 2 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon olive oil
Pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 475°F and heat pizza stone if using.

  2. Cook sausage in skillet until browned, then drain.

  3. Stretch dough into a 12-inch round and place on baking surface.

  4. Brush edges with olive oil and sprinkle lightly with salt.

  5. Add mozzarella, sausage, and dollops of ricotta.
