Pepperoni Pizza Roll Breadsticks are soft, golden rolls filled with marinara sauce, melted mozzarella, and savory pepperoni, baked until bubbly and lightly crisp on the edges.
1 pound pizza dough
3/4 cup thick pizza sauce
2 cups shredded low-moisture mozzarella cheese
24 slices pepperoni
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll pizza dough into a large rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
Sprinkle mozzarella evenly over the sauce.
Arrange pepperoni slices in a single layer over the cheese.
Roll the dough tightly into a log and pinch the seam closed.
Slice into 1 1/2-inch pieces and place cut-side up on the baking sheet.
Brush tops with olive oil and sprinkle with Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder.
Bake for 18 to 22 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
Cool slightly before serving.
Use thick sauce to prevent sogginess. Do not overfill. Allow rolls to rest briefly after baking for easier serving.
