Fried Strawberry Cheesecake Sandwiches feature creamy strawberry cheesecake filling between slices of bread, pan-fried until golden and crisp.

8 slices soft white sandwich bread
8 ounces cream cheese softened
1/3 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup finely diced fresh strawberries
2 large eggs
2 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons butter or neutral oil for frying
2 tablespoons granulated sugar optional for topping

Instructions

  1. Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Fold in diced strawberries.

  2. Spread filling onto 4 slices of bread and top with remaining slices.

  3. Press and seal edges, crimping with a fork if desired.

  4. Whisk eggs and milk in a shallow bowl.

  5. Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat.

  6. Dip sandwiches lightly in egg mixture.

  7. Fry 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden brown.
